This was arguably the most unprofessional and unorganized interview process I have ever been through.
1. Was contacted for a phone interview, which was easy and straight forward. The recruiter was very nice.
2. A video interview. This was just kind of ridiculous. The recruiter records a question and you listen to it then have a minute to prepare and record yourself answering the question. Again, not difficult it's just kind of awkward.
3. Then comes the in person interview, which is where the unprofessional and unorganized parts come in. First of all, they me and someone else interviewing for the same position sitting in the lobby together for about 20 minutes by ourselves with no direction. Then someone came in and put us in separate rooms for a Wonderlic Test. Considering the type of company and the position, this is an extremely pointless waste of time. The type of questions you haven't answered since your high school SATs. Example: If A is true and B is false, is C true, false, or undetermined.
Then comes the in person interviews, which is really the worst part. They take you into a room and you interview with 2 people, who should definitely not be allowed to interview people. The questions are not difficult, but the people think they are way smarter and more important than they actually are. I was then moved to a second room and literally left standing outside the room waiting for the other candidate to get done with her questions. The girl took me there and said, "Oh, sorry we usually have chairs outside the room. Do you mind just standing here for a few minutes?" I stood there for about 15 minutes. The entire time I could hear the other candidate being interviewed. FINALLY, they open the door and bring me in. The guy that was leading the interview, who would end up being my boss, was definitely not a person you would ever want to work for. He was wearing a baseball hat, old busted jeans, and a dirty fleece. Now, I'm all for a casual work environment, but come on man, if you are interviewing someone can't you at least take a shower and throw on a collared shirt?
4. You then do some shadowing for about 1/2 hour which is fine. The guy I sat with was right out of college and a nice guy.
5. I was told that they want to move fast so we would hear back the next day or if not within the next 2 days. 2 weeks later I followed up with the recruiter and did not get a response. A week after that, I followed up again and she got back to me the next day saying "I'm sorry we took so long but someone internally just expressed interest and we gave them the position"
Overall, pretty bad experience. I would not have accepted an offer had one been extended. If you are right out of college this might be a decent starting point for you, but as a lot of the other reviews have said, the people here take themselves way too seriously and I imagine you would be severely micromanaged if you work here.
