Received an email to set up an intro phone interview for the position. Then when I realized the day of she had never asked for my phone number, I sent it to her only to have her call me annoyed because she said she had changed it to a zoom call in the invite because she thought it would be easier (didn't specify this beforehand). Was the rudest interview experience of my life. Yes, I understand they are also trying to see if you're a right fit for the position but she had no interpersonal skills whatsoever, so I don't know anybody that would be excited to work for a company like that after that experience. Red flags I noticed during my interview: -She kept referring to the person who would be in this role as a 'she'–already gender assuming. -When asked what would the first 6 months look like for this position, she said "and that's if the team even likes her"–making it seem like a very catty and toxic environment. -After only asking me 2 questions about why I want this position, and about my work experience I asked if she had anymore questions for me because I had asked multiple already and wanted to give her a chance to learn more about me and she said "I feel as if you're the one interviewing me in this call so ask whatever other questions you have" as if she was annoyed that I was asking questions to learn about the position. The call lasted maybe 10 minutes before she said if you move forward you'll hear a call tomorrow and abruptly hung up. I would never recommend applying for this company because my short interview experience seems very indicative of how the organization treats their employees.
