The company sent me an email to schedule a phone interview with a recruiter. I took the time out of my morning to go through my schedule and separate some time to speak with them and scheduled the interview. About an hour later I receive a generic and not personal at all rejection email about how the company has decided to go a different route with the position. There was no apology for the inconvenience or change of heart.
