There are a lot of touch points and Multiple rounds of interviews and can take some time before getting an offer. Typically starts with a phone screening and then an interview with the actual department. I interviewed with 4 people before HR called.

I had an initial phone call with a terrific HR rep who discussed the job in detail and gave me an insight into the interview process. They gave me advice on how to best represent myself as well as offered advice in the future if needed. I then met with my potential manager as well as a VP for an hour-long interview where we discussed my career path, the position, and what the job and training look like. After this I had a sales pitch with three members of the team and I was given the opportunity to learn about the culture. I was then able to have a phone call with a current employee in the position to learn more about the day to day and openly ask any questions. I was then in the process of scheduling a day of shadowing while I was under consideration for one other candidate. Overall I was not selected because my prior experience did not align and the company felt the other candidate would be a better fit. I felt throughout the process as much as they were looking out for their needs they were also looking out to make sure that this position fit my needs as well.
