I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Mews in Oct 2023
Interview
Fairly efficient setup and scheduling, but very formulaic almost robotic question and answers. Didn't give much opportunity to actually find out about the role or showcase what I could actually bring to it Very disappointing that during the interview, the interviewer "accidentally" clicked a button which showed a thought bubble with a downward thumb on it. Disrespectful doesn't really cover it.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Are you an introvert or an extrovert? What software do you use for reporting? What metrics do you use to judge success? How do you allocate budgets? How do you communicate with remote team members? Questions I would have expected at manager level, rather than a "head of" position as there wasn't much discussion about strategy and people management.
Hi, thanks for your feedback on the recruiting process. I'm afraid Teams has added a feature for live reactions and hand gestures trigger them. There is no thumbs down reaction only a thumbs up but we are considering turning them off for interviews.
