The initial interview was a one-way video that asked both technical and personal questions to get to know you. Most of these questions were not relevant to the job. Next, there was two, 1 hour long interviews and then a project. *Interview process was NOT worth it for the salary being offered* The people I interviewed with seemed incompetent and kept changing the job titles and expectations on me. I'm not sure if they even know what they are hiring for.
We have designed a uniform set of behavioral and situational questions for each job position across divisions. We ask the same questions to all candidates for each role so we can maintain a consistent approach. Our video interviews are convenient for both the candidate to complete and the hiring manager to review.
We do our best to find a place on our team when we identify talent that we'd like to bring on board. This can occassionally mean that we will aks for a second interview for a different position if a candidate isn't qualified for the initial role or if that role has already been filled. I'm sorry if you found our efforts to be confusing or disorganized and your feedback will help us to be more clear about or process in the future.
Please contact us so we can address your concerns directly, we're happy to speak with you about your experience.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Miles IT (Miami, FL) in Jun 2022
Interview
The process was easy, but a bit drawn out and extensive for the amount of money they are offering. The first interview is prerecorded, and the second interview is with a live person. The third interview, I was told would be a culture fit interview, but it consisted of random (kind of off topic) questions and a dissect of my resume (which had already been done in my second interview lol). It seemed like the interviewers was not sure of what they were actually hiring for, and the job description seemed to change with each interview. Alot of scenario-based questions, and less on what skills you have to do the actual job.
