I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Notion Labs in Nov 2024
Interview
1 conversational recruiter interview, 1 hiring manager interview (competency-based), 1 practical interview, 2 competency-based interviews with future colleagues, and a final interview with the GM.
The recruitment process was challenging (also because for an account executive french market position, all interviews were in english), but the recruiters were extremely nice, genuine and supportive, putting me in the best conditions to perform,
I always felt welcome, I was never put in a difficult position just for the sake of it, as would happen in other recruitments processes.

I was so excited to get an opportunity to interview with THE notion in Sydney. But gosh is the reality so different from what they portray themselves to be. This place is the epitome of toxic positivity. The teams online "gush" about each other like they are all some weird twisted lover group, but when I met the team in person, they were all extremely stressed out, glum and just didn't seem like they were happy in their jobs at all.
One of the worst interview experiences I've ever had.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Notion Labs (Sydney) in Aug 2025
Interview
Interview process was drawn out. Multiple rounds of interviews were conducted with a final role play scenario followed by a cultural fit interview. It was held online and face to face
- Recruiter screen then on to hiring manager call afterwards was a demo call panel and then cross functional interviews followed by values interview which finished with offer. Overall was a smooth and enjoyable process. Great people I connected with.
