It took three weeks. I was looking to switch career paths, so they were very interested in that. Asked a lot of questions about my background and how that would help me in their line of work. Asked me why I was drawn to medical field. I started with an online application, then had a phone interview. At the end of the phone interview, I was told they would like to move forward with an in-person interview. The in-person interview was three people and while I clicked with each one, the energy was much lower than the phone interview so I felt they did not click with me. However, I did get a phone call a day later asking me to come in and shadow. I did the shadow and met with about 15 different people and learned a lot about the job. I really enjoyed the shadow day. I was offered a position but I declined for a few reasons - the commute would have been a real hassle for me, the schedule was not ideal given my situation, the pay was quite low, and I was contemporaneously offered a better deal to stay on permanently at the place for which I was temping. I LOVED the people at One Medical and was sad to turn them down for that reason.
