It’s unfortunate that you did not have a pleasant experience during your interview with us. We are always willing to accept feedback and make changes for the betterment of the company and our candidates.
We do have candidates fill out our waiver for background and drug screenings. In all honesty, the reason we have them sign the drug test paperwork upfront (which is the same as the background) is because we find that a lot of candidates, assume we don’t really drug test and then they don’t pass their drug test even though they say they will. I kid you not, this happens weekly.
I can assure you, we have zero interest in your age. I just pulled our analytics on age - 49% of our staff are 35 and under. The rest are older than 35 mostly in their 40s and on up to 60s. We are only interested in you being able to perform the duties of the job you are applying for.
I assume you did not ask for your form back, or else we would have happily given it back to you. If we don’t hire you, we have no use for the paperwork. We store all of our candidate paperwork safely in a locked cabinet and locked room for 1 year before shredding. If you are still feeling concerned, please do email our recruiter Elizabeth@postcardmania.com, she will pull your paperwork and shred it for you right away.
