The process began with a less than 30-minute phone interview with an HR representative. Within a week, an interview session was scheduled with several consultants and managers. The interviewers met with me individually and focused largely on my experiences in previous roles (these were not case interviews). About two weeks later, a second round of interviews was scheduled with another group of consultants and managers. These interviews proceeded in a similar fashion to those conducted in the first round.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Public Consulting Group (Boston, MA) in May 2024
Interview
Phone screening, followed by two virtual interviews. The second interview I had to do a mock test to showcase a skillset. They sent over material before the 2nd interview that i had to read and elaborate on.
Applied, 2-3 business days later: Phone call with the recruiter, 1 week later: Teams video call with two supervisors, 1 week later: Teams video call with Manager/Potential Boss, 2-3 business days later: request for references. References all responded within 1-2 business days. Status on dashboard updated 1-2 business days later (Hidden status with status update date visible) Nothing for 2 weeks after.
I applied online. I interviewed at Public Consulting Group (New York, NY) in Sep 2023
Interview
It was pretty straightforward. A recruiter contacted me, I spoke with her on the phone, then an interview with two team members, and finally a panel interview that had an assignment given to me the night before. I accept that I probably approached the case study not how they wanted, but I still find it extremely unprofessional to ghost a candidate after three rounds and them hounding me. Seems I am not alone in that experience.
