Before the first screening interview, was asked to take a simple Hacker Rank programming test that was easy to ace and had positive feedback on it during the interview. The interview itself was rambling and awkward, the interviewer clearly didn't have much of a passion for running interviews and made steps of it made it feel like he wasn't particularly informed on the role or how to approach it. Things seemed to go fine despite that, I clearly had well beyond the kind of programming and design experience required for the role (in most regards, I was easily qualified if not over-qualified), but then I had to wait over a week for a rejection without any feedback.
