Interview
I saw the position on a flexible job site and was contacted a couple of months later. I spoke with an HR person who indicated she didn't know if work from home would be allowed. She asked me to come in an interview with the dept. head and ask her. Since I live a considerable distance, this was a necessity for it to work. The in person interviews started with the HR professional who was excellent. I then met the dept. head who seemed to have an negative attitude from the start. The personal connection was not there and I did not pursue my questions as she was clearly not interested in me.

Interview
Working with the recruiter was great. Once I actually spoke to someone at SHRM, it was frustrating. The person I interviewed with was late and couldn't figure out how to work his video. He also was very unresponsive and honestly didn't seem genuinely interested in interviewing me.

Average interview experience; didn't get a good enough feel for the actual company environment. Most questions were about roles held too far in the past that weren't as relevant to the position I was interviewing for.
