The person from HR at Save the Children UK was extremely disorganized, they had some technical issues and instead of apologizing and rescheduling, she let the candidates await for a written test that never came. Later, she was very inflexible about possible dates for rescheduling it. However, what is truly demotivating is that, after I did the written assessment, I received no response from HR. They also didn't respond to my emails inquiring about the results. They did the same to a colleague who was going through the same process.
An HR Department that ghosts candidates after making them do a written assessment and/or interview is thoroughly unprofessional. It speaks quite badly about the organization as a whole.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The assessment lasted 45 minutes and it had two questions. The first was to read through a request for funding, fill in a questionnaire, and determine whether you would provide funding. The question asked how I would deal with a committee member that was not acting impartially.

Interview
The interview panels were made up of 3 project staff and a HR staff. Basically a competency-based interview, ask you to use example to elaborate some of your skills and experience. Salary for national staff is low.
