Sotheby's Floater interview questions

There were two interviews and it was very straightforward. The first interview was with the HR department and after I was essentially screened in that interview I interviewed with the department I was to be hired with. A terrible woman whom I would come to detest, but anyway she hired me. I was once told by her (the head of my department) that I needed to keep a special kit in my purse including an extra pair of panty hose, a sewing kit, a comb, tampon, lipstick and other essentials to ensure that I looked great at all times. WTF is this, mad men??

was called in after sending in my resume to HR. The Interview was typical, what is your experience in the auction world, why do you want to work here, etc. Was with two people from the Fine Arts department, and they were very kind and cordial. The Interview only lasted about 25 minutes tops.
