Screening interview, followed by an in-office panel interview, then a third interview with two additional senior counsel over Teams. The interviews were routine, and the people were friendly. They seemed to go well. No issue with the fact I was not hired, as I understand there are many high-qualified candidates for these roles, and they are highly competitive. My issue is with talent acquisition, which went radio silent after the final interview for several weeks, after which I received an automated "thanks, but no thanks" email. As a professional who spent quite a bit of time and effort (including taking off work) in pursuit of this opportunity, it was disheartening for talent acquisition to ignore requests for a substantive status update - which is not unreasonable after waiting several weeks following multiple in-depth interviews. And, to ultimately be rejected by an automated email was impersonal and in my opinion unprofessional and disrespectful of my time. Companies like this need to do better.
