The Carter Center Internship interview questions

I applied online and made it to the final interview round after being internally referred for the position. As someone who had a personal referral from a senior position, and stellar recommendations including from the President of my college I feel like the interviewers didn’t make the right decision. The interview consisted of two people who via their questions and tones seemed to have already made up there mind about who would get selected for the position.
