      Business Analyst Interview

      Mar 17, 2017
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at UiPath

      Interview

applied online, received an email asking me to take a logic and reasoning test. Test is about 15/16 questions long and asks high school type questions like what number is missing in this sequence and some other random logic questions. A few days later I received an email that I was not selected based on my test results. My results were (60/75) which is essentially getting an 80/100 on a test - not a fail by any means. In my opinion, this is a very unprofessional way in choosing candidates and not a company I would want to work for if they base their selection off a random test and not off the person or their experience.

      Interview

The interview process was interesting, I have learnt more about the company and I met people who asked smart questions. It was one of the nicest interviews I had. HR was always available if I had any questions, this made it more comfortable.

      Application

The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at UiPath (New York, NY)

      Interview

I was contacted by HR and had a pretty normal 30 minute chat. HR spent a lot of time talking about how great the culture at the company is (which I assume was in reference to many negative reviews online). With that said - I had a good conversation and was hopeful for the next interview. The next interview was an hour long and had many questions where they were obviously looking for specific answers. Prior to this interview I was on the fence about the role and company but wanted to see how the interviewee was. I was interrupted about 20+ times in the first 30 minutes of the interview (and I am not one to ramble on). After 30 minutes of being interrupted before I could finish any sentence (and this was not to see how I handled pressure or anything else) I decided to thank the interviewee for his time and said that this wasn't a good fit for me. The interviewee said "Why, you are scoring really well, were you expecting other types of questions?". I said, "No, I just don't think this is a good fit". He continued to try and continue the interview and I had to reiterate that I didn't believe it was a good fit and thanked him for his time. Overall - I'm inclined to believe the negative reviews related to this company. I say that based on the questions I was asked and the interviewee interrupting me way too many times to be acceptable.

Scored maximum for the test from hackerrank. Then the next step was with HR and a presale analyst. Romanian owned company, lots of fuss for nothing. No feedback from HR after 2 months. Very unprofessional!
