I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Virtu Financial in Oct 2022
Interview
Initial OA which was quite nice. But the HR interview I had after was awful. Firstly I was a little ill going into it, so I had a Strepsil in my mouth to soothe it. Then she somewhat condescendingly asked if I "wanted to finish my lunch", I explained what I had in my mouth and why, and she seemed to not believe what I said and I'm not sure she even knew what a Strepsil was. Following that, I felt like I was talking to a stone wall the entire time, my answers were given close to 0 feedback and she didn't seem like she wanted to even be there. Half the time when I was giving my answers she was looking away and seemed distracted. Then I got a brainteaser, she just copy and pasted the problem into the chat and told me to do it with 0 guidance or help. When I asked a clarifying question about one detail of the question which was a bit vague, she just straight up gave me the answer instead thinking i could not do it which was very frustrating.
