You are invited to a group interview and asked to complete a task together such as sell this item to us. Then you get invited to a one -to- one interview to be asked competency questions and about your CV. Relatively straight forward process.

Online Application, multiple choice questions. Telephone interview with HR. Group interview in branch followed by one to one interview with manager. All were relatively straightforward, just smile and be confident, that's what they're after.

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Waitrose (Lincoln, England) in Jun 2017
Interview
One on one questions with manager. Based around skills such as teamwork, overcoming challenges, how you changed the way you've worked in the past etc. This was followed by being alone in a room with a set of 20 customer comments. I was asked to choose 3 of these comments and writing how to improve the situation, sustain it over time, and the long term benefits.
