I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Waitrose (Monmouth, Wales) in Jan 2017
Interview
Was very quick, first of all you're all in a room together (5/6 people) then they go through some induction together and then you go for a 1 to 1! , Although they were not accommodating if you had prior work commitments on the weekend, which I find quite unfair as you want to be able to work for the company and not all people can work weekends.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Waitrose (Rushden, East Midlands, England) in Mar 2015
Interview
Various online questions such as education, etc. Standard as what you would expect. Then a selection of tests/questions based on reasoning (eg. rank the responses to a certain situations in how you would best respond). This was followed by (if successful) an assessment centre/interview process.
A group problem-solving interview and then a personal one-on-one interview. You are given a problem which you have to come up with a solution to as a group, once finished you are individually interviewed by the hiring manager.
