I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Yext (New York, NY) in Feb 2014
Interview
Applied online, heard back about three weeks later. Had a phone interview where they then asked for me to come into their office in New York City. Spent over two hours being interviewed by three different people. General interview questions were asked. Nothing out of the ordinary. I left feeling very good over all and was assured by the hiring manager that I would be hearing back very soon. She also told me that I was a great candidate for the position. I sent a follow up email later that afternoon and I never heard a word from them. Two weeks later I emailed to follow up once more - was immediately sent a generic email from HR saying they did not find a position that met my qualifications.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
One interviewer spent quite a bit of time questioning me about the chronological order of my college courses and past work experience. I felt that was a bit odd since it's all clearly started on my resume.

Interview
The process consisted of an interview with the in-house recruiter, followed by a 30min zoom interview with the hiring manager, and finally, a 2-hour marathon interview with 4 separate Yext employees which also included 2 different skills assessments.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Yext in Feb 2020
Interview
Two different Yext employees at different dates had a one on one conversation with me where I told them about my education, previous internships, experience with technology as well as customer service. They asked me about my interests and why I was interested in Yext as well. At the end of the interview, they gave me time to ask them as many questions as I wanted to.
