Second Spring South
Second Spring South is a 16-bed intensive residential recovery program. Our program strives to meet our residents where they are, rather than where others think they should be. The ongoing goal at Collaborative Solutions is to provide our residents with every opportunity to direct their own recovery.
Achieving mental wellness is an individualized and personal process. At Second Spring South we work very hard to realize that for each resident that comes into our program. Opportunities for residents to explore what mental health means to them include creative arts therapy, music therapy, gardening, yoga, meditation, fishing, music, and more. These opportunities to create activities that empower them can become healthy habits residents can use to direct their own recovery when they leave Second Spring South. Residents are welcome to participate in treatment team meetings comprising psychiatrist, therapists, nurses, recovery partners, and community services representatives.
Second Spring North
Second Spring North was created in 2013 as a Community Recovery Residence. Our program provides residents and staff opportunities to engage meaningfully and compassionately through excellent clinical and hope-filled practices. We provide residents an intensive, collaborative, safe, and professional environment.
A curriculum of scheduled daily living activities reinforces the goal of engagement among all staff and residents. Being with a safe person in a safe space, while navigating one’s strengths and challenges has therapeutic benefits for many residents striving to establish and maintain regulation and resilience.
Our staff include creative arts therapists, a music therapist, registered nurses, clinical manager, cooks and others. All staff are present and engaged in day-to-day interactions with residents and their real-life situations. Upon graduation from the program, the Second Spring North community organizes a coin ceremony when staff and residents alike partake in sharing beautiful stories about the the journey of recovery undertaken by the resident who is moving on.
