Description The Compeat story began in 2000, where our founder, Harry Barkerding, designed an integrated accounting and back office software for restaurants. The Compeat team thrived in New Orleans until Hurricane Katrina wiped out the office. Banding together, the team relocated to Dallas, where one of our very own customers, Dave and Busters, was kind enough to give us a place to work. In 2006, Compeat set roots in Austin where music, restaurants and technology were plentiful and expanded our product portfolio with Hire, Labor, Schedule, Logbook and Intelligence.
In 2017, we joined forces with Ctuit, adding Novato and Houston offices and uniting two restaurant management software market leaders and adding more Intelligence reporting, enterprise inventory and mobile apps for managers and employees to the portfolio.
Together, we have the most comprehensive and innovative accounting, back office and workforce portfolio in the industry, serving over 1500 restaurant customers and over 14,500 locations.
