Following the acquisition of Compeat by Restaurant365 we're excited and hopeful for some additional resources and ability to continue to improve our market competitiveness. Hang in there....good things ahead.

Great people and a lot of opportunity for growth

Pros

Come for the paycheck, stay for the people. I've never worked with so many people as passionate and tenacious as the Compeat peeps. We have been through a lot together -- company merger, rewrite of our flagship product, COVID -- and while things can get stressful and tense, the focus rarely strays from delivering an excellent customer experience from people who truly care about our users.

Cons

There is a lot of uncertainty in the restaurant industry right now, which has definitely bled over into Compeat. The majority of our senior leadership started immediately before COVID so it has been difficult to deal with both a global pandemic and a company going through a bit of an identity crisis led by unfamiliar leaders that have not yet won the company's trust.

Pros

Like in war and troubling times you can form an unbreakable bond with your fellow men and women. The product offering of both sides of the coin are amazing and once combined as a full package (2 years into a merger so far) should be one the best restaurant analytics tool available.

Cons

The company has great potential, but in the hands of the Board it’s not about a great product or content employees as long as their pockets continue to be filled. (Watch out R365 you could be next.) While your managers and most directors show compassion for you and the company, the C levels above look to placate the cattle with meals and beverages, not fair compensation. One office seems more structured in this than another, meals/snacks/activities seem thrown together and scrambled at the last minute. Almost like the one in charge of that office isn’t fully invested in their roll and responsibilities.

Yes, all posts have a truth that the author feels is theirs. And they are credible. And we respond because we care. Simple as that. The responses are not intended to defend ourselves, they are simply to acknowledge that there are many sides to all employee experiences. And there’s also no intention to tear down. In fact, it’s quite the opposite and the responses from current and former employees are all read and shared with the leadership team to drive awareness and change for the good of the teams. And we will continue to do so.
