Founded in 1923, De Nora is an Italian multinational company, leader in sustainable technologies for the green economy. At De Nora, we offer a portfolio of products and systems designed to optimize the energy efficiency of critical industrial electrochemical processes, as well as a range of products and solutions for water treatment. Globally, we are the largest supplier of activated electrodes and among the top distributors worldwide of water filtration and disinfection technologies (for industrial, municipal, and maritime sectors) and components for pool disinfection.
With a deep understanding of electrochemistry, a proven manufacturing capability, and a robust supply chain built over the years, our company has developed and qualified a portfolio of electrodes and components to produce hydrogen through water electrolysis, a crucial factor in the energy transition. Over the years, we have never stopped innovating and growing. Today, we operate 25 companies in 10 countries and have 5 research and development centers in Italy, the United States, and Japan, ensuring continuous improvement and expansion of our proprietary technologies, covered by over 260 patent families with more than 2,800 territorial extensions.
