Effective immediately, Fors Marsh Group (FMG) will pay for the travel expenses for employees seeking abortions in states where abortions have been banned. During a company all-hands meeting on Friday, June 24, Ben Garthwaite, our CEO, announced that travel expenses for employees seeking abortions in states where abortions have been banned will be covered in full. This comes at a time when the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization U.S. Supreme Court decision overturns the Roe v. Wade decision that preempted state restrictions on abortion. ...Show more

The workforce has shifted to the (healthy) realization that business isn’t a family. Okay, fair. But that doesn’t mean work has to be a place where you spend 8 hours strictly punching numbers. In truth, we probably spend more time with our coworkers than most family members. There is still room for connection and alignment with the people we’re spending 40 or more hours a week with. The goal of a workplace should be to create an organization that encourages employees to bring their authentic selves to work and to create safe spaces with like-minded colleagues who can speak their minds without fear of reprisal.
