Since 1946, HL Bowman has remained a family-owned business. Our current Enders team of father-and-son owners, Dennis and Bryan Enders, are the second and third generations at our helm. Back in 1946, Herb Bowman started the business with Dennis’s parents. After Herb stepped down due to illness, Dennis’s parents continued the business with the American business dream in their sights—growing it organically with just the two of them.
They kept their Central Pennsylvania company small, only adding their son Dennis to their workforce. Working hard, the Enders team continued as a three-person company for over 20 years, building their family-values business model and reputation for integrity and excellence throughout the Harrisburg area.
Decades later, both Dennis and Bryan continue the family tradition and uphold our deep HL Bowman roots in the Central Pennsylvania community. We have grown to who we are today by providing our customers and employees the best possible service and treating everyone as part of our family.
