Pros

Cheap meals, culture, cheap contacts.

Cons

Pay scale should be reevaluated. More in benefits less in salary.

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We’re happy to hear you enjoyed working at 1-800 Contacts and took advantage of the great benefits (and perks) we provide for our associates. While we feel confident our pay and benefits package are competitive, we would be more than happy to pass along your comments to our compensation and benefits team.

Pros

oh my gosh. The CEO will eat lunch with you? That's just unheard of. this was when their cafeteria was open. but now since covid is running rampant most employees are at home.....? I really bet they love saving money.

Cons

They think they are a gerat company but they pay you terribly compared to other call centers. They also say that they compensate through benefits when other call centers have better benefits and better pay.

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We value all feedback; it’s how we learn and grow. We recognize that there have been changes since COVID, and as those changes have come up, we have tried our best to be flexible and find the best solutions and opportunities for our associates. For many, that means working remotely. If you are interested in working in the building, we encourage you to work with your manager and business partner to explore options. Also, good news! In case you weren’t aware, our 20/20 Grille is open and ready to welcome all Utah (or visiting) employees looking for a delicious meal! Our menu items are heavily subsidized by the company, making ordering from the Grille affordable, too. We especially love it when our remote people come in for lunch. Your growth and job satisfaction are important to us. If you haven't already, we encourage you to chat with your manager or business partner about your concerns with pay and discuss ways you can take full advantage of our Customer Department's incentive program, utilize development resources available to you (tuition reimbursement, our Associate Development Program (ADP), CTAC-U, etc.), and explore career opportunities available to you – within your channel and the organization. Again, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Your thoughts and feelings are important to us. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to your manager, a business partner, or any member of the People Department if you have additional ideas on how we can create the best possible workplace.
