Great people, lack of business process

Pros

Smart, creative people that you want to work with. Technical capabilities that are competitive and could be superior with the right process and focus. Prior to the sale the health benefits were off the charts great.

Cons

Lacks strategic direction. Little sense for putting structure and process around opportunities to make money. Self-impressed with an under-invested proprietary technology.

Fully remote work. Some new technologies mixed in with very old ones.

Cons

There is a ton of tech debt and no clear roadmap for the company. Many people are leaving and either not being replaced or being being replaced with highly inexperienced people. It is a software company that is becoming more and more a consulting company/data broker.
