Flexible Hours Benefits Great Pay An annual trip (woo AG Conf) where we get to meet all of our colleagues Using the best password manager around (I may be bias) Working with wonderful people who are always there to help. Overall I can't think of a better place to be working and I am happy to have been given the opportunity. I hope you give us a chance too!

Cons

I haven't really come across any downsides to working at 1Password thus far.

A beloved product and no shortage of technical challenges

Cons

Pivot to an individual performance culture and away from the team-oriented ethos that brought it success so far. This would be fine if the organizational processes were mature enough to make ownership and accountability clear. Comp outside of US is not competitive

- company has strong financials and continues to grow YoY despite uncertain economic climate and tech industry - building a new, category category defining product. very exciting product vision with lots of potential, if delivered well - excellent salary and benefits (compared to other canadian employers), as well as fun employee appreciation perks like treat day ($10 every so often to spend on a treat of your choice) and wellness days (full company takes the day off) - genuinely kind people who are bright and fun to work with

Cons

- i'd say cons are not out of the ordinary for any scaling, high growth technology company. high bar for performance and fast to manage out/coach if someone is not meeting the bar - some churn at the leadership level earlier in the year and in 2024 (C-suite, VP) but seems to have stabilized now with a great team - fast moving pace where sometimes we need to pivot or pause the projects we're working on. would not recommend for someone who likes routine/slow and steady, since we definitely move fast
