Pros

Company values it's employees and has a robust training program. Good benefits Clear ladder for advancement

Cons

As a CSR you are still very much in a retail environment. So if you don't want a customer facing role this job isn't for you. I've had colleagues belittle me for not knowing something but asking and then also get mad for not asking enoughh questions after being belittle.

Pros

None, unless you consider paying out of your paycheck for parking at the building THEY chose to be in as a pro.

Cons

-Micromanagement is absurd. -You are set up to fail and receive no training except for a few minutes explaining things, and then you're supposed to know everything. -Managers yell at people and roll their eyes when people ask questions AFTER they tell people to ask questions. -Managers waltz around bragging about themselves all day and complaining about how hard their reports are to complete. -Managers are threatened by anyone with new ideas and hate anyone who tries to make improvements or suggestions. -Bullying, harassment and discrimination take place every day, and HR defends that behavior. -No one knows anything. Everyone is clueless about most things when you ask questions. -Files and computer systems are antiquated, require redundant data entry and are a complete mess. (Papers everywhere!) File room is so stuffed full that you cannot get your fingers in between the files. -You are given a ridiculous amount of work that you have no way of completing in your shift. -There is no transparency. -Bullying, harassment, hatefulness, conceit, corporate greed and egomania in managers are their true Core Values. -They are very disorganized. -Bosses only say negative things about employees. It is obvious that managers are encouraged to bully and threaten employees at 1st Source. That is the company culture. -If you dare complain about any of this, you will be ostracized, and HR will gaslight you and victim blame. (Again, the whole company is extremely crooked. including HR.) -Very old-fashioned and stagnant thinking. No desire to implement anything new that would help the business or the employees. -Always hear upper management talking about "cutting budget." Very cheap company that acts like they're doing employees a favor just by existing, when in actuality they pay peanuts for the amount of work employees do. -One boss is retiring, and her team of five is supposed to "take over her managerial duties" with no additional pay because 1st Source Bank is too cheap to hire a new manager. (Remember, cutting budget is of utmost importance!) -You have to work most federal holidays, even when the Reserve is closed. -Very low pay for what you do and the amount of stress. Supervisors throw employees under the bus and don't advocate for them. -You will never get a raise. -There is a reason they do not list the salary on their job postings. It's because the pay is trash! -DO NOT APPLY HERE. You will regret it. I tell everyone to avoid this place like the plague.

Pros

Training prepares you well, although it takes a few months to catch the rhythm. Fairly easy job, and not very stressful.

Cons

Small branches, so it is very quiet, and usually only have about 3-5 employees working. Therefore, your coworkers and manager can make or break your work environment with it being a very small team. Customers can be difficult, and systems and processes are outdated making it difficult to attract younger clients. I wish there were more appreciation for their employees or a better work culture of teamwork. Takes years to be able to move up in the company. Poor compensation.

Pros

It's a very supportive team environment. They are flexible around family life. No strings attached training is offered to all techs. And all levels of management have an open door policy if you need to discuss anything with them. It's a great place to work for and there is lots of growth potential.

Cons

None that I can think of.

Pros

They are diligent about providing the training you need to grow in the position you are hired for. They offer great benefits and are family oriented.

Cons

They tend to pay to little for the positions in the retail side of the bank. other than that I don't have too much to complain about!
