      Pros

      If you enjoy a fast pace work environment and are a people person then 7-11 is good for you. The work is not hard to do, you just have to know how to manage your time and work well with your co-workers.

      Cons

      The stores are mostly all franchised, so the owner can pay whatever they want without giving any raises, vacation pay, holiday pay or personal days. They have a very poor training system. Most employees get thrown on the register the very first day they work without completing the computer training. You get written up over petty things. Often times you work alone and you are still required to get everything finished before you leave. They have a very high turn over rate. Most employees are young and don't care too much about their job so they are difficult to work with to accomplish everything required. When someone calls out of work, management expects you to drop everything and come to work immediately, if not it's "frowned on"

      Pros

      The culture of 7-Eleven is amazing. The idea of Servant Leaderahip isn't just lip service, it is evident in every day workings with people all over the company. It makes me incredibly proud proud that our motto is "Serve. Lead. Do what's right."

      Cons

      As a field consultant, it can be difficult to convince independent 7-Eleven store owners (Franchisees) to do what is actually best for the long term growth of their business
