They're very old school, bottom line thinking in many ways. When it comes to deadlines on a project, all bets are off to get it done. They don't care if you have to work 80 hours, up til 4 AM the night before, etc. Which somewhat goes with the territory of what they do - but there's little appreciation for it. You're paid your starting salary and that's it.
Speaking of - not sure they're the most trustworthy in terms of pay equity. Your colleagues who do the same job could be making significantly more or less. It seemingly depends on how much you ask for during the interview process?
Benefits are very basic to downright bad.
Finally, there's zero culture post pandemic. No all hands meetings, no CEO talks, etc. I spoke with someone outside of my direct team maybe 3 times ever in my year plus there. Obviously everyone being remote changed what culture they had - but it's been over a year, and they haven't adapted.
Last thing - HR sent an email to me asking me to "contribute a positive glassdoor review" a month or so after I was hired. Felt a little weird to have that come from HR / makes me not trust all the reviews on here.
