      Pros

      The pros would be that I EARNED a paycheck, I was able to work from home and I did help families that were in crisis.

      Cons

      The phones did not work, dropped calls all the time. The computer software failed consistently and we were promised it would be fixed, never fixed. The executive team NEVER took responsibility for their failures. They executive team considered the communities their customers because they were the ones paying, priority was not the families. The did NOT have a streamlined process to contact the families so it became what I would call, harassment.

      Pros

      At one point years ago there were many pros to working for A Place For Mom, but then they changed management and cared very little about the people we were supposed to be helping, rather just wanted to make money off of the clients that were reaching out to us.

      Cons

      We were expected to refer people who definitely did not have enough money for long-term living. And they said just create a bigger issue for these families. Workload and schedule was ridiculous. Micromanagement was horrible. You're in constant fear for your job and for your paycheck, which is never consistent or what they promise... I can go on and on, but you have to make your own decision, my advice would be to run far and find a better company that cares about their employees and cares about the people they are helping...
