Pros

Prestigious small firm that does a good amount of high profile projects in the Mid- South. You get a good starting salary and benefits. They have free lunches and massages the last Friday of each month. Most of the people are nice.

Cons

You get 2 sick days per year. If you have to miss more time, you'll be reprimanded with possible termination, and a doctor note doesn't excuse it. You will work nights & weekends (60+ hours / week). High turnover rate.

Pros

1. Give back to the community 2. Work longer hours Monday-Thursday so that you have an extra 1/2 day every weekend

Cons

1. Long hours and Impossible workload/goals 2. Don't expect this to be a long-term career - They seriously have the highest turnover of any company that I have ever worked for 3. Everyone is a "manager" and if you are one of the 3 people that are the support staff... beware because your time will never be your own.

Pros

Small firm that has done a good number of prestigious projects in the Mid-South and is growing. They hire people constantly due to growth and other factors. Lunch is provided once per month after the mandatory staff meeting. They provide 30 sausage biscuits each Friday, for approximately 90 staff. A 15 minute chair massage is provided once per month.

Cons

You will 65+ hours / week, even though there is a half day on Friday. However, most people especially those on Salary will be expected to stay all day on Friday and weekends. This causes a high turnover rate. Negotiate the best salary upfront – no cost of living increases and raises are very rare. Your annual evaluation is not used to review your salary, only to set annual goals and review the previous year. Mr. Askew works the staff to a breaking point and micromanages. You only get four Federal Holidays off. (New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day.) The company gives you an eight hour day off for these. However, each work day is 10 hours. You’ll be forced to work late on the next Friday to “make-up” the two hours you weren’t in the office Christmas day.
