Pros
This was my first position after graduation from college, and I was able to boost my sales and customer service skills through this travel sales position. There are some good travel discounts available to consultants, and eventually the opportunity to take FAM/other free trips. Hours were pretty good for a retail store front position.
Cons
As you are getting started, it will be nearly impossible to make much additional money with the travel commission system. For the younger generation of workers/fellow travelers, this sort of travel is old fashioned as people are utilizing new technology and alternate travel means.
