Pros

Good pay and some good employees.

Cons

Where to begin? Huge promises of empowerment, new projects, etc but job was basically data entry work. Worst micromanaging I have ever seen, both at the local and corporate level-no respect received, only negative criticism daily. Unprofessional HR=no confidentiality. Important decisions & changes were always made too quickly to implement correctly & efficiently. This was the worst place I have ever worked in my 25+ years of experience. If you ever wanted to work in a 1960's style workplace, this is it-punch the clock (and you better not be a minute late), work, work, work & stay until everything is done, no exceptions, no matter how unrealistic the expectations are (insert cracking whip sound here).

Pros

The purchase of Flanders will go down in history as one of the worst due diligences in CEO history everyone in air filtration is laughing at us and now the integration is a disaster everyone's waiting for our parent company to smell the coffee and wake up

Cons

Two different companies two different cultures one lost CEO resumes flying out the door and we are know the joke of air filtration

Pros

New owners are good, much better benefits for everyone, paid us for missed time after the hurricane, they seem to care about their employees which is a new thing here at Flanders. I heard they will invest in the factories here in Washington too.

Cons

Metal shop work is up and down, busy 1 month, not much to do the next. Makes a person worry a bit about the long term.
