Pros

Best Job Ever! Loved it. You get to cross train in many areas. I ended up running the pleater / laminator and was paid extra when I did.

Cons

Factory work is hot in the summer and cold in the winter. You are constantly getting a different supervisor and of course whenever a company is always hiring its because they are always firing as well. I was laid off when the sent the entire pleat and panel division to the other plants in other states.

Pros

Competitive salaries, and there are some very nice people working in the trenches.

Cons

Upper management has no idea what lower management is doing and they don't appear to care. I've never been micro-managed to this extent, and I've worked in Customer Service for the last 20 years. If you enjoy being treated like a child, by all means, go work there. Many promises were made for opportunities for advancement and working closely with sales and the customers to serve them well, but you are constantly clothes-lined by petty bureaucracy. They seem to reward people for being nasty and condescending. It's a very negative and depressing work environment. You only hear from Upper Management with "bad news", there is no acknowledgement for good work. Lower Management is clueless as to how to manage a team.
