Good exposure to a variety of engineering problems, friendly atmosphere, good training, knowledgeable mentors, travel opportunities, wide range of products and technologies.

Cons

Slow and fragmented processes, competing departments, work life balance, clique-y, no flexibility on work hours or holidays, old fashioned systems (excel and word based).

Good co-workers Benefits coverage was really good Decent pay Flexibility

Cons

Terrible employee engagement. People have just given up. Management only cares about sales numbers. They genuinely believe they can turn the company around on sales alone. Shipping times, product quality, manufacturing processes are all on the back burner. I would suggest you keep looking if offered a job with this company.

Pros

The health are retirement benefits are better than average. The company promotes education and learning. It is a more of a relaxed environment, but also somewhat a controlled environment through the Japanese culture and the 4 C program.

Cons

Communication problems are or were worse than in comparable companies. Management is aware of the problem. Training and information for new hires can be lacking and not complete.
