Pros

Decent salary, benefits. Some departments do believe in work life balance, others not so much...

Cons

A lot of working in silos. Movement is constant. This can be good so hoping that going forward the constant change of ideas, branding and personal is a positive.

This is a very good company that helps people who are need of a job opportunity.

Cons

What good about AARP there is flexibility with hours, and if you need time-off, you can make up the time when feasible with the company.

Pros

7 hours work day, excellent benefits, not much stress so you can actually have a life outside of work. Very friendly and easy going people to work with. Some super smart technical staff. I have nothing bad at all to say about my experience with work or the staff. Had a great time working at AARP!

Cons

Company overspends on frivolous perks for executives. They also spend money like water on equipment and building upgrades based on advice from inexperienced inside executive staff. For a non profit organization, they sure do like to waste money.
