Pros

Good benefits, 35-hour work week, great DC location

Cons

Impossible to be promoted even with stellar performance reviews, quite disheartening. Also after 9 years I never saw even one of their "on the spot" recognitions awarded.

Pros

People were treated with respect. Most of the people there balanced family and work and did it well. Very senior level management were true experts in their fields and they sought out employee feedback. During my time there, I was very proud of the work done and there were some amazing big brains there.

Cons

In a few instances, mid-level management completely incompetent -- saw some really great people leave because of it. The organization was large so changes were sometimes slow to happen.

Pros

Treated as an individual who they value for your expertise. Management was a little shaky at times but overall good company to work for.

Cons

Couldn't move up the corporate ladder unless you transferred to another state.
