Pros

You get paid for training.

Cons

This is "that company" that is stuck in the 80's- 90's Middle Management Mindset. Anyone who gets a 1/2 step promotion thinks they rule the school! Their "MEH-TRICKS" as they pronounce it is all they care about. Not if you satisfy the customer, not if you resolve a complicated issue.. just that you took too long on the call. Their QA is laughable. Not able to finish the mile and 1/2 long script because an angry customer hangs up on you and doesn't let you do the 20 paragraph closing? BIG FAT ZERO! No customer focus at all. Just numbers. They seriously think that ever call should be identical and take the same amount of time, have the same outcome, etc. How ridiculous can they be? Silly and unprofessional. Those "in charge" are simply rude. No other way to put it. While in training, one "side-chatted" me to say she "heard something in the background". I let her know that was impossible, but she went on a rude rant anyway. Come to find out, she did the same to everyone who shared that day. Apparently, it was HER headset buzzing. What a professional! LOL

Pros

If you are part of the "in" crowd, you can end up in a position with a nice title and okay money.

Cons

There are many. Money is slightly less than larger companies would pay. Dominate good ol gal / boy culture. President seems to relish being a dick to employees. Communication with upper management is bad. This is a company that started with a few people and has grown to a level where the current management doesn't know how to run it.

Pros

It is the incentives the pay and the fun trainer teacher

Cons

No work or life balance, guinea pigs for the in office reps and management and at the drop of dime you have to work 12 hours when they see a piece of ice on the ground, they live in the midwest very bad weather I lived in St Louis so yeah its always ice, while the entire business is closed back to back calls all the time, I have worked in several call centers and it was the busiest because of the high turnover rate and while you can't even catch your breath you have to take soft collection calls and get cursed out at the same time, the training was 4 weeks but I made it you have to take a hard exam to get hired on, also pto is a joke they basically cater to whoever's in office first and remotes take the scraps I asked for a Christmas Eve two years in advance and was told no, and there scripts lol I have called government agencies and their scripts don't ask for all of that stuff to verify, also you have to call the clubs where its young kids who have no clue how to close gym accounts and you have to try to explain their error to already angry customers, no thank you I will find something else.
