I'm only here because I need a paycheck

Pros

It pays better than unemployment.

Cons

No appreciation whatsoever towards the employees. Management has no clue how to run the business nor communicate and loves to dictate and mandate. No benefits nor compensation for overtime work which is the norm here and not the exception.

Pros

There are not many pros about working at ABC Imaging over competitors. I think the only positive thing is the availability of locations to work.

Cons

To be blunt, ABC Imaging took the unethical company model of FedExKinko's and removed even more morale from the company structure. Absolutely no benefits. Health insurance is actually cheaper to go through your own carrier. No 401k, no retirement options, and the absolutely bare minimum of paid holidays, vacation and sick time. But you better let them know ahead of time if want to be sick or you might get it approved! Beware, they try to convince the Managers to buy supplies on their own income and get you to file for reimbursement! They don't always approve it! Lower management is essentially a glorified title. They've adapted "micromanagement" as their company motto. Managers cannot place an order of ink pens without getting the approval of the VP. Any on site issues can be guaranteed to have the upper management ignore you. Don't bother attempting to contact the upper management, they don't respond to anything. They also have a tendency to use the lower management as scapegoats when attempting to resolve issues with clients when it's directly or indirectly their fault. Oh, don't bother trying to come up with more efficient means to operate the day to day operations because no one cares. You are expected to exceed beyond your job description yet don't get paid for overtime (salary w/ no overtime options) or appreciation. If you are working at an FM site and your company is closed on a holiday yet ABC isn't? You can't come into work and you're forced to take the day off unpaid through no fault of your own. They won't even offer to move you to another site to work to collect your wage. Oh, last but not least, don't bother asking for a review or a raise in under 5 years. You have to threaten to quit in order to even be considered for a raise. Careful, you might be too expendable to them to try to buy you back. They really milk the "bad economy excuse" for all it's worth even though they signed a major multi million dollar contract with a big firm a year ago and are making bank right now.

ABC Imaging: A very dysfunctional company

Pros

A prominent company in its field

Cons

The worst upper-management I've ever seen in any company in any industry. Blatant disregard for employee well-being. They try to steal your time off hours.
