      Pros

      You won’t lose your job no matter what you do. The job is pretty laid back

      Cons

      Cdl drivers will never drive a truck. You will work the dock at night and every weekend for at least 5 years before you can even think about getting a drivers bid. The environment at the work place is not good at all. The senior guys do not want new guys who get hired to have good schedules. I do not advise anyone to work at this place. It’s the worst job I have ever had

      Solid work and decent pay

      Cons

      Work cycle, vacation, upper management support. Vacation kicks in after your completed 1st year. You have to cover the vacation days that your coworkers take, so your vacation is a wash. Little support from upper management with regards to dealing with employee issues. 1st line supervision gets shortest end of the stick on most deals.
