Pros

Decent pay and benefits, very hard to find 20 word minimum of pros for ABF Freight anymore, it's just not the same.

Cons

Upper management consists of pencil pushers that lack experience and know-how in keeping ABF Freight a " Freight company ". ABF doesn't have a very good reputation anymore. ABF started going downhill after David Stubblfield retired, unfortunately this new upper management will probably be the demise of ABF.

Pros

The difference with ABF is the fact that the employees actually care about customer service. I've never been with a company where the corporate culture is so positive. Drivers make a great effort to meet customer needs whether that be through the U-Pack services or general LTL freight. I am always impressed by how professional ABF's drivers are compared to other carriers.

Cons

The management can improve by communicating better with employees and making expectations more clear to drivers/checkers
