Pros

ABS is a phenomenal company. They provide such great services with high caliber providers who are professional and personable. I have been working here for a year and felt so welcomed and appreciated from day one. ABS is growing up from the ground floor, and administrative and clinical staff have a great opportunity for management and executive levels as they progress along with the company. If you have the patience and hard work ethic to stick through the current rough patches, ABS is DEFINITELY a career-job, and I, personally, plan to work her for a long, long time.

Cons

Over the last year that I have been working at ABS, we have had a few hitches along the way. They were not prepared for the massive demand for services and did open too many clinics this year without proper preparation. As such, some employees felt ill trained and ill supported (which is not un-true). However, the past few months have been a large overturn of processes, including creating a full-fledged, well staffed HR department, office managers, department managers, and clinical directors. The new structure is still getting on its feet, but the employees who have and are hanging on and sticking through the bumpy patches are going to reap the benefits quickly. There has never been as good of training for administrative staff as there is for clinical staff, but this is again something that is being worked on for restructure and to re-vamp so that ALL staff feel better supported from the gate. $$ at ABS has always seemed like something where executives are either very frugal with or very liberal with, and usually in ways that don't seem to make sense. However (again), a new, experience CFO and HR manager have been hired who I am confident will make this less of an issue and make employees feel more appreciated.

Pros

Reimbursed tuition after 6 months, quick movement upwards, highly supportive consultants.

Cons

Communication can be tricky, you have to fight for attention from management, quick growth and high turnover means less than perfect organization.

Pros

Getting to work with kids is amazing. Being the one to implement programs that will help the kids in the long run, is very rewarding. Pay is very well to start

Cons

Communication can be better. Unless you're a BCBA, money is not really guaranteed
