Great benefits and work at a safe pace.

Cons

Upper management is ran horribly from the very top. If you don’t “know” someone you will never have any career opportunities within ac transit.

Financial Benefits . Good pay for little work. Insurance and pension decent, could be better but could be a lot worse

Cons

Redundant positions or processes Non-sensical procedures Advancement tough. Limited number of position titles. Very union heavy. CEO a big union guy but he's also not very smart. He prioritizes drivers over admin staff. If the drivers must suffer than so must the office staff... even though they operate in completely different roles and have completely different responsibilities. And all the middle management just nod along with it.
