Pros

The best part of working for ACC is the time off you get. We get spring break and two weeks paid off between December and January. Management tends to be lenient about time off requests. There is no overtime in my position, just a regular 8-5 Monday through Friday. Great work life balance. Met some amazing colleagues and coworkers. Room for advancement, encouragement to grow and move up in the company. Lots of training opportunities. They create new positions every year. Low turn over rates (double edged sword) Yearly raise (about 2-3%)

Cons

The pay is decent. It could be better just based on how expensive Austin can be. Stressful depending on which department you work in and who your management is. It can be hard to move up if you do not have a bachelor's degree. Low turn over may seem great but in reality it can prevent moving up in the company.

Pros

Students and colleagues are supportive and lots of PD opportunities.

Cons

Pay could be higher (as Austin is now a HCOL city) and more opportunities for growth within departments, special projects. Less students per class.
