Pros

The culture and staff are amazing! I have met countless people who have become life long friends. The work ACES does with the children and families we serve is extremely rewarding and fulfilling. I have been offered many promotions over the years that I have been an employee, which has continued to advance my career. They offer competitive salaries, good benefits, and a great company culture.

Cons

We have been through a lot of changes over the past year, but those seem to be stabilizing. The hours can be draining at times, with late nights and some weekends. However, this seems to be the norm for the field.

Pros

There is a training sequence that is remote

Cons

Disorganized Stressful onboarding experience. They fumbled my login, and I was the only one in my cohort of 30+ people during the onboarding initial meeting who had issues they created when they mixed up my login and account info with an already existing employee. This set me back and had to wait for the next session weeks out. They told me 1 thing during early meetings and then started to tell me contradicting information once my training started. They expect you to be in 2 places at once - with a deadline to finishing self-paced module training, getting numerous vaccines, and other time-consuming tasks like getting finger scanned. When you need help, you get thrown in circles chasing various members in Microsoft Teams, adding to more stress. Also, once you are down with virtual training, this is very little hands-on training at all. They expect you to be 100% for a 1 on 1 on fieldwork in a strangers home.
