Pros

Location and people are nice!

Cons

Huge turn over! Company acts like it's a non-profits but corporate is the definition of Cheap and beyond! It's all rainbow and confetti's once you starts and then they won't keep any promises made. Old employees will tell you as such if they trust you. Put everything is writing and make sure you won't let them add more responsibilities and work without compensation. Because they will dump their problems on you without a second thoughts. Company had major Class Action Lawsuits for ripping off employees for travel compensation for example ... and they knew prior of being caught. Those are not rumors, and the best managers and employees have left. There was a golden time more than a decade ago but greed has clearly foreshadowed it. Do yourself a favor and anticipate other options.

Pros

Once had culture that was about their employee's. Good data taking system.

Cons

High billable requirements Care more about opening offices and taking clients than actually providing the quality treatment they claim to. They take all clients even if they can't fulfill contracts and provide minimal hours over a full authorization period (6 months) if not more- rather than be ethical and send the client to another agency that can give them more hours. They provide horrible oversight of the RBT- Directors take on all RBT's pass them if when they don't actually pass the exam and don't even know when people quit and not take them off their credential. Company cares more about billable hours than their employee's and work you hard and make you feel bad for not being as productive as your peers. If you are salary and fail to meet you billable they will punish you by putting you on hourly. In addition, while I was forced to constantly change my schedule when clients cancelled they rarely ever hold parents accountable for cancelling. I'd rather make less and have a better work life balance. Which is why I left--- plus they tolerate bad staff and it brings the morale down.

Pros

- Coworkers are often very nice - Working with the kids is extremely rewarding

Cons

- There is no equal pay amongst people with the same experience and qualifications - People who have been with the company for years are being paid less than new hires that have less experience - They force you to stay on a case even if you’re struggling or in an unsafe situation - Supervisors do not collaborate with RBTs/BIs (who are in direct contact with clients several days a week) and just boss you around even if it’s overall not beneficial to the client - Supervisors will have substantially less RBT/BI experience than the RBTs/BIs working under them - They make you keep track of supervision hours which should be the supervisors' responsibility (the role is in the name, duh) ACEs is a good way to get your foot in the door for the ABA Therapy field, but you can find hundreds of other companies that can do the same and will probably treat you a lot better. I love my job and my clients, but I am only met with respect by my superiors.
